The story

In DIY, Claire Lovering (Play Dirty, Class of ’07) stars as Alex, a grieving young woman who just wants to hang a sentimental picture on her wall.

But when her drill pushes into the plaster, she inadvertently kills Sam, a mob bagman collecting funds from a hidden stash in the wall of the adjoining apartment. When Alex rushes next door, she stumbles into Sam’s corpse and discovers neighbor Jerry (Alexander England – Alien: Covenant, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart) tied and gagged in the bedroom.

But before she can free Jerry or get an explanation, someone calls out from the living room. Gus (Damon Herriman – Mindhunter, Justified) has just arrived. He’s a hitman, he’s late to his first job for a new mafia boss, and he mistakes Alex for Sam.

Now Alex faces a horrifying choice: pretend to be a career criminal and participate in a major felony… or die.
