Submit Your Film – PREVO

For filmmakers · Open year-round

Submit your film

Great films shouldn't sit on hard drives.

PREVO accepts short films year-round. Every genre, students and professionals alike, documentaries included. There's no entry window to wait for and no deadline to miss – send it whenever it's ready. If you made it, we want to see it.

Summer Showcase update. Entries closed July 20 and voting is open now through Sunday, August 16 – every selection is streaming on PREVO. Films submitted from here join the year-round catalogue, and catalogue films are automatically in the running for the next competition. See how voting works

Already streaming on PREVO? Catalogue films were automatically in the running – every selection is live and competing now.

Why submit to PREVO

A premiere, an audience that votes, and judges who can actually hire you.

Curated

Screened, not uploaded

Every film is reviewed before it premieres. Your work joins a curated catalogue – not an algorithmic feed where nothing surfaces.

Premiered

Your film, your network

When your film goes live, we tag you and your cast, and cover it editorially in The Weekend Read and First Frame. The premiere reaches the people who made it.

Voted

Subscribers pick the nominees

Members vote across all five categories, with a public leaderboard through the voting window. The most-voted film in each category becomes a Nominee. Catalogue films are entered automatically – there's no separate competition entry to fill in.

Judged live

Decided by working professionals

Nominees go to industry judges – Spring's panel came from UTA, HarperCollins Productions, and Media Talent Group. They choose the winners and reveal them live on stream, each with the reasoning behind the pick.

And you keep your rights. Our license is royalty-free, and you keep the right to sell your film directly to your own audience.

How it works

From submitting to winning.

01

Submit

A link to your film or the file itself, a logline, and a few details. About two minutes.

02

We screen & premiere

Every submission is reviewed. If it's a fit, it joins the catalogue with a premiere. We follow up within seven days.

03

Subscribers vote

When the next competition opens, members vote across the five categories, with a public leaderboard running the whole window. The top film in each becomes a Nominee.

04

Judges choose winners

The Nominees go to our industry panel, who select the winners across every category.

05

Announced live

At the ceremony, the judges reveal their picks on stream, each with the reasoning behind it.

Submitting today? Your film joins the catalogue as soon as it's screened and premieres from there – the Summer Showcase is already in its voting window, so catalogue films submitted now are in the running for the next competition instead. Nothing extra to enter. Send us your film

Beyond the competition

The Showcase has a deadline. PREVO doesn't.

We accept short films year-round for the general catalogue – no competition entry required, and nothing to wait for between competitions. Same curated library, same audience, same editorial coverage in The Weekend Read. Films arriving now join the catalogue rather than this summer's Showcase, which closed to entries on July 20 and is currently in its voting window.

What to send

A film link or file, a logline, and your details – the same short form.

How to submit

The submission form, anytime.

Eligibility

Any filmmaker, any background, any genre. If it's a short film and you made it, send it.

Competitions

Catalogue films are automatically entered in the next PREVO competition. No separate entry, no extra fee, nothing to remember.

Timeline

No deadline. We review on a rolling basis and follow up with next steps.
